The company Metax was founded in 1985 in Schöneck and is registered at the Registry Court as a GmbH. In 1993 the office was relocated in Hungen-Obbornhofen at newly-build, modern facilities.
As a manufacturer the company has its own product development including modern CAD-construction, modern machinery for mechanical manufacturing of components and a large stock.
Beside own products the range of products is completed by trading products of the sealing scope.
Metax is certified by DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and is an accredited company for apprenticeship training with assured jobs.
