Multi-talent in a tiny form factor turns components into sensed components
From component to intelligent component
The M3G is the smallest sensor in our component portfolio and, with its integrated SAW and temperature measurement, is a real all-rounder. Connected to the BeMos one controller mechanical components equipped with the M3G sensor become mechatronic components. To do this, the compact M3G sensor is glued to the component using epoxy resin. The sensed components thus provide important information about the operating status and wear of machines and components. Entirely in line with Industry 4.0.
Measurement signals are transmitted from the sensor to the controller via a flexible conductor track. This gives designers a lot of freedom when connecting an M3G sensor in the component and an industrial connector on the outside of the component. The intrinsically safe design of the M3G sensor makes the sensor suitable for applications in potentially explosive areas.
